Some days, all you need is a small cup with strong shot of espresso and a dash of milk.
Most people thinks that Caffè macchiato is the same as Latte macchiato. I’m amused at how horrified they looked when they realised the macchiato they ordered is actually espresso stained with milk instead of milk stained with espresso like the one from Starbucks. The first thing they say will always be “Why is it such a small cup?”
Wait till you taste it.

So that particular day, I leaped off the orange aircraft with a beautiful stranger strapped behind me. Saw Lake Wanaka from the sky. Had the most awesome egg benedict at Kai Whakapai. Loved the coffee so much we ordered 3 more to go, came home and painted the papercup a month later.

Spent my whole Sunday packing my room and rediscovering some forgotten items that were left aside to collect dust. Among them were some books that I’ve read weeks/months/years ago and they were left untouched ever since. I’m thinking of having a book-swap with my readers so that I can clear these storybooks and get a new batch of stories to read. Anyone up for it? :D

Saturday makes me feel like sitting by the lake and watch the world goes by. Unfortunately, there is no cyan colored lake like the one in New Zealand.

Some people just brings negative energy to the people around them. They may seem like the most sociable and chatty person, but their way of creating a conversation is basically to criticise, complain and bring people down. They judge and they spread negativity before you even know the person. Best way to deal with these people, simply nod your head and give no reply. Focus on your learning, minus the unimportant things. Why bother when there’s no content?

2012 started well and everything has been rather smooth up till now. What’s even more amazing than the good start is my trip to New Zealand! That land of the long white clouds has the most breathtaking views I have ever seen so far. New Zealanders are so warm and friendly, and that was a bonus to the trip!
After such a long hiatus, may I present some local coffee in their bags.
