I am very excited to share this news with you guys! 10 of my coffee drawings are displayed at CrazyWorld Cafe at 24 Temple Street from now till 19th February. You will be able to see 10 of my favourites from my current collection on the walls of this cafe. They also have a selection of Radio Receivers and a really beautiful Gramophone being displayed in the cafe. Most importantly, please show your supportttttt!!
Note: Not all coffees in the poster are being displayed at the cafe.
There’s an executive condominium under construction right below my block. Honestly, I hate this construction site. There’s so much noise almost everyday and starts early in the morning. They are working all the time, pounding incessantly, drilling non-stop and the noise is un-ending. Even on a day when everyone in Singapore is enjoying their public holiday, they are working. At the speed they are working at, the beautiful scenery from my room will be gone soon.
Nothing much I can do, but embrace them and capture this process in pictures. Oh, and tried a little tilt-shift effect.
I took a walk that day, with my favourite companion. Couples were posing for their wedding pictures, in the sun that was already setting. Monkeys were running around, waiting for the perfect opportunity to snatch away any food in sight. We walked by the reservior, away from the crazy monkeys and waited for a good 20 minutes for that fisherman to leave, so that I can take that last photo in this set.
In this post, I bring you to a place with cups in cyan, Jimmy the monkey, neon signage lights seeping in from the rectangular window & a toilet bowl. This is Jimmy Monkey cafe & bar.
To date, I’ve completed 37 coffee drawings (3 not uploaded yet). To be honest, I’m contented with what I’ve produced and is all geared up to keep it going. At times, I might be a little lazy and slow with my updates but drawing every coffee poured down your throat is no joke. To “celebrate my achievement”, here’s a print of 20 coffees. You can now get it here on Etsy.
